Doing Things Right in Matters of the Heart
Christian singles are frustrated. Many of them have followed the culture down a path
strewn with the wreckage of what feminism has done to men and how premarital sex has damaged
women especially. They are fed up with serial dating but aren't sure how to negotiate the
turbulent pressures of an over-sexualized culture in pursuing a lasting love.
There is a radical, biblical alternative to much of what is taught and practiced today
regarding relationships. Doing Things Right in Matters of the Heart presents a
bold plan for escaping the swift currents of contemporary patterns of hooking up, shacking up,
and breaking up. It draws a compelling vision of complementarity between the sexes. It
instructs men on what to do and informs women on what to look for in their mutual pursuit
of a healthy, tender, long-term relationship.

The Great Work of the Gospel
How We Experience God's Grace
Foreword by John Piper: "The Great Work of the Gospel is God-centered
good news. It is the kind of message that will make deep, strong
people and deep, strong churches." To read the full foreword click
here.
The Great Work of the Gospel is about our human experience of God's outworking grace and the sin -- forgiving gift of it, the guilt-removing power of it, the soul-satisfying joy of it, the cross-suffering mystery of it, the conscience-cleansing experience of it, the life-transforming splendor of it and even more. It is about the Great Work of God's grace. It's about why the gospel is called good news.
The Great Work traces out what the Apostle Paul means when he wrote, "Work out your own salvation with fear and trembling, for it is God who works in you, both to will and to work for his good pleasure" (Philippians 2:12). What is it that we are to work out with fear and trembling? And how is this truly God's work? What comes with salvation that needs to be worked out into our minds, our tongues, our wallets, and our sex life? How is it that when my sins are forgiven, my neighborhood is improved? The Great Work of the Gospel has been a joyful challenge to write and I think you will find it a joyful challenge to read. Let me hear back from you afterwards.

Saving Innocent Lives One Woman at a Time
Answering the Call is designed to help Christians take the initiative in influencing our generation on a matter of great importance: cherishing and defending innocent human life. The call to cherish and defend innocent human life is coupled with the invitation to become involved with a local crisis pregnancy center gently helping women choose life. It inspires a passion in fathers to protect and provide for their God-given children, especially those in the womb.
